Lancashire Aero Club

established in 1922, is the oldest active flying club in the UK and possibly the world. It was based at Barton Aerodrome from 1947 until early 2007 but now has an airfield of its own, at Kenyon Hall Farm near Wigan

The Club extends a hearty welcome to visiting aircrew and aviation enthusiasts. We meet socially at the Boysnope Park Golf Club, Liverpool Rd, Eccles. (on the A57 just west of Barton airfield).

Please note:

Lancashire Aero Club do not at present offer trial flights or flying lessons.
