Lancashire Aero Club

Lancashire Aero Club was established in 1922, is the oldest active flying club in the UK and possibly the world. It was based at Barton Aerodrome from 1947 until early 2007 but has now left for another venue, although we are actively seeking an airfield of our own.

2008 AGM date confirmed

The Annual General Meeting, which will only be open to fully paid up Members on production of the new yellow Membership Card, will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 17 September 2008 at Boysnope Golf Club, Liverpool Road, Eccles. After the AGM, food will be provided. Please make every effort to attend this important meeting
